Services for Mildred “Mil” Killen will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. from Rocky Hill Church of God with Rev. Brett Cooper and Rev. Guy McGarrity officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday at 10:00 until time of service at the church. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Killen, 85, of Hattiesburg, died Monday, June 29, 2020, at Alden Pointe in Hattiesburg, MS. A native of the Dixon Community in Neshoba County, she moved to Vicksburg early in life where she lived most of her adult life. She was a resident of Hattiesburg for the past four years. She worked for South Central Bell telephone company and Midland Shirt Factory for a few years before settling down with her family and becoming a homemaker. Mrs. Killen was a member of Rocky Hill Church of God in Sebastopol. Survivors include daughter, Melissa “Missy” Wallace (Bobby) of Vicksburg; son, Michael Edward Killen (Debbie) of Hattiesburg; grandchildren, Beau Wallace, Baylee Wallace, Ivy Killen, Isabel Killen; great-grandchild, Brayden Pickering; sisters, Polly Pharr of Flora and Jane Chancy of Little Rock; brothers, Mike Watkins of Jackson and Sam Watkins of Pelahatchie; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Killen was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Killen; parents, Hayward and Euna Watkins; sister, Peggy Watkins; and brother, Bud Watkins. Pallbearers are Ricky Rogers, Wayne Rogers, Bobby Wallace, Paul Thomas, and Allen Roberts.
