Mike Mcallister

Mike McAllister was a native of Meridian, MS and served in the United States Marine Corp. After serving in the Marines he returned home where he worked in the family business of McAllister Television Service for several years then at Maytag Appliance and M & M Rooter for a few years. Some of Mike's hobbies included flying model airplanes, collecting knives, rebuilding old vintage cars and his bowling league. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Geraldine E. "Jerri" McAllister of Philadelphia; daughter, Sheila McAllister Monroy of Philadelphia; sons, Robert Michael McAllister(Tellethia) of Lauderdale and Daniel McAllister(Pam) of Ellisville; seven grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, David McAllister of Meridian; nephews, Steven McAllister of Meridian and Thomas Matthew Faucette of Ocean Springs; brother-in-laws, David Jones Faucette of Nashville TN and Frank Faucette of Meridian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Virginia McAllister and a brother, Steve McAllister. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
