Mercedes "Merk" Culberson

Funeral Services for Mercedes "Merk" Culberson will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 1:00 pm. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Tim Vowell officiating. Interment will follow in the Sandtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Friday, February 14, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at McClain-Hays.

Mercedes "Merk" Culberson 88, passed away peacefully February 11, 2025 at her home.

Mercedes was born on May 1, 1936 to T.C and Eula Mae Bozeman. She attended Lynville School. Mercedes "Merk" as she was fondly known was a life long homemaker. She enjoyed sewing for the public and her flower garden. Mercedes was a member of Pleasant Springs Presbyterian Church. She dearly loved her grandchildren and will be missed by all her friends and family.

She is survived by daughters; Gaye Flint and Wanda Haggard, son; William C. (Bo) Palmer II; six grandchildren; thirteen great grand children and three great-great grandchildren, sisters; Lois Willoughby and Imogene Johnson (Tommy), brothers; Roy Bozeman (Sheila), Oneal Bozeman (Judy) and Bill Bozeman along with several nieces, nephews and their families.

She is preceded in death by a son; William C. (Bo) Palmer I, husband; Tommy Culberson, parents; T.C. and Eula Mae Bozeman along with several brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Haggard, Micah Boatner, Ron Payne, Joseph Boatner, Daniel Haggard and Kolt Butler.

Honorary pallbearers are William Palmer, Bill Bozeman, Roy Bozeman and Oneal Bozeman.
