Mazell B. Skinner

Funeral services for Mazell B. Skinner will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 3 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Jerry Skinner, Bro. Mike Skinner, Rev. Jeff Brewer and Rev. Mark Cloys officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in House, MS. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 12 noon until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mrs. Skinner, 98, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, June 17, 2023. Mrs. Mazell was a native and longtime time resident of Neshoba County. She retired as a payroll clerk from Garan Manufacturing in Philadelphia. Mrs. Skinner was a member of East Philadelphia Baptist Church and was active with the Senior Adult Group and enjoyed their trips. Survivors include her daughter, Alice Nelson of Philadelphia; sons, Jerry Skinner (Barbara) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Mike Skinner (Glenda) of Philadelphia; six grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Shortie B. Mitchell of Ardmore, TN; several nieces and nephews and their families. Mrs. Skinner was preceded in death by her husband, B.L. Skinner; grandson, Shannon Skinner; and son-in-law, George Nelson.
