A graveside service for Matt Permenter will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at 11:00 a. m. from Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Neshoba County with Rev. Neil Chadwick officiating. Visitation will be held at McClain-Hays on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time to leave for service. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Permenter, 33, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, December 13, 2020. A native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County, he graduated from NCHS in 2005, and attended ECCC after graduation. He was currently employed with Lonnie Harris Construction as a heavy equipment operator. He loved to hunt, fish, and coin collecting in his spare time, but he mostly loved spending time with his daughter “Maddibug”. Mr. Permenter was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Maddileigh Permenter of Philadelphia; mother and stepfather, Ramona and Noel Palmer of Philadelphia; father and stepmother, Walt and Pam Permenter of Pontotoc; grandmother, Charlene Rhodes; sister, Jessica (Jamie) Graham of Philadelphia; four stepsisters, Heather (Justin) Parker of Philadelphia, Jessica (Jeremy) Swindle of Montgomery, AL, Brandi (Craig) Chrestman of Pontotoc, Michelle Parker of Pontotoc; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Brad Permenter, Shannon Rhodes, Dustin Rhodes, Josh Thompson, Brewer McGee, Shannon Hardy, Justin Parker, and Caleb Thompson.
