Funeral services for Lottie Seward Winstead will be held on Friday, August 2, at 11:00 a.m. At McClain-Hays Chapel with Dr. Mike Carr officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 2, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at McClain-Hays. Mrs. Lottie, 97, of Philadelphia passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at her home. Mrs. Lottie was a native of Neshoba County and a resident of Jackson MS for several years, until she moved back to Neshoba County 25 years ago. Mrs. Lottie loved her flower garden. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Lottie was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where she was a very active member, for as long as she was able. Survivors include her granddaughter, Amy Winstead (Bryan Irby) of Pelahatchie; grandson, Brad Winstead (Jennifer) of Davie FL; great grandson, Cooper Conn; great granddaughters, Addison Irby, Mary Irby, Jaycee Winstead, Jessa Winstead; Brother, Rufus Seward of Standing Pine; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lottie was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Winstead; son John “Phil” Winstead; parents Filmore and Mary Seward. Pallbearers, Lee Duncan, Cooper Conn, Bryan Irby, and Brad Winstead.
