Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Clytee Manning will be held Monday, February 8, 2021 at 1 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home with Dr. Jon Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery in Winston County. Visitation will be held Monday, February 8, 2021 from 10 a.m. until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Manning, 87, of Philadelphia, died Friday, February 5, 2021. She was a native of Winston County and a longtime resident of Philadelphia, MS. She formerly owned Jack & Jill Daycare and later worked as a housekeeper at Philadelphia Middle School until her retirement. Mrs. Manning was a member of North Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Sandra Martin (Ricky) of Philadelphia; son, Rayford Manning, Jr. (Tammy) of Noxapater; grandchildren, Craig, Patrick and Jon Martin, Rayford III, Bruce and Andrew Manning; great-grandchildren, Meg, Will, Seth, Ty, Anna Kay, Riley and Mary Hannah Martin, Rafe, Caroline, Julia Kate, Lena and Owen Manning; siblings, Jerry Drury, Douglas Drury, Linda Fortune, Mavis Smith and Sherry Clay. Mrs. Manning was preceded in death by her husband, Rayford Manning, Sr.; parents, Henry and Nona Drury; granddaughter, Elizabeth Manning; great-granddaughter, Faith Martin; siblings, Bernice Sisson, Joe Mack Drury, Travis Drury, Patsy Drury, Shirley Drury and Infant Janice Drury. Pallbearers are grandsons, Dr. Craig Martin, Patrick Martin, Dr. Jon Martin, Rayford Manning, III, Bruce Manning, Andrew Manning. Honorary Pallbearers are great-grandsons, Will Martin, Riley Martin, Ty Martin, Seth Martin, Rafe Manning, Owen Manning.
