Mary Lynn Talbert

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel and burial in the Antioch Cemetery with Rev. Nels Norris and Bro. Bryan Linkin officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12 noon until time of service. Mrs. Talbert, 71, of Collinsville, died Saturday, February 11, 2023, at her home. She was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of Herbert Springs Community; and worked as bookkeeper for the family business, Elmer Talbert Trucking. Mrs. Talbert was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She and her husband were members of the Philadelphia Cruiser Car Club. She was the best wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother ever. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Elmer Talbert; daughter, Tawana Reese (Scott); grandchildren, Amanda Akins (Wade), Courtney Hancock (Brian), and Zack Partridge; great-grandchildren, Brennon, Ty and Caroline; sister, Betty Miller; brother, Ronnie Roundtree (Gaynell); numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Mrs. Talbert was preceded in death by daughter, Tabitha Thompson; and parents, Ray and Mabelle Roundtree.
