Services for Mrs. Lois Lovern will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at 2 p.m. from First United Pentecostal Church of Philadelphia with Bro. Albert Reid, Bro. Tim Vowell and Bro. Barry Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in Henry’s Chapel Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be held Monday, June 4, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. at First United Pentecostal Church in Philadelphia and from noon until time of service at the church on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Mrs. Lovern, 91, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. She was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County. She retired from Wells-Lamont in Philadelphia. Mrs. Lovern was a member of First United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include two daughters, Janice Daniels of Brookhaven and Kay (Chuck) Barfoot of Philadelphia; one son, Jerry Lovern of Philadelphia; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters, Syble Wilson of Philadelphia, Itra Pinegar of Ackerman, Inez Jenkins of Philadelphia, Alice Linton of North Carolina; brother, Willard Benson of Philadelphia; numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Lovern was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Lovern; brother, Howard Benson; sister, Mattie Sue Alexander.
