Mary Lillian Montgomery Breazeale

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. from Cedarlawn Cemetery with Bro. Dudley Winstead officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Breazeale, of Philadelphia, died Monday, April 3, 2023, at her home. Mary Lillian Montgomery Breazeale was born in Jackson, Tennessee, to Connie Estes and Armenda Montgomery on November 20, 1930. She and her family lived in Tupelo, Mississippi, until 1972, and then moved to Philadelphia, Mississippi. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved her flowers; and she dearly loved her family. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Vivian Breazeale; sons, James Breazeale and John Breazeale (Melinda); grandchildren, Jill Hollingsworth (Brian), Dana Garrett (Josh), Colby Breazeale (Rachel), Dinnon Breazeale (Megan), Neylie Breazeale (Dylan), Samantha Hoskins (Jihida); and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Corky” Breazeale; son, Steve Breazeale; parents, Connie and Armenda Montgomery; sister, Connie DaLee of Tupelo, MS; and brother, Joseph Montgomery of San Francisco, CA. Pallbearers include Colby Breazeale, Dinnon Breazeale, Bryan Hollingsworth, Jihida Hoskins, and Dylan Carroll.
