Services for Mary F. Duncan will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Father Bob Goodyear officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Philadelphia. Mrs. Duncan, 80, of Forest, died Friday, September 30, 2022, at the Beehive Assisted Living Home in Forest. A native of Lee County, Opelika, AL, she moved to West Texas after high school graduation and completing Business College. She worked fifteen years for Phillips Petroleum where she also met and married her late husband Joseph “Joe” Duncan. After retirement they moved back and made their home in Neshoba County. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and especially spending time with her family. Mrs. Duncan was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Survivors include sons, Rick Stone of Texas, Michael (Nyka) Duncan of Lake; grandchildren, Lacey Stone, Cullen Stone, Taylor Duncan, John Michael Duncan; sister, Patricia Brown of Columbus, GA; sister-in-law, Pat Hillyer of Opelika, AL; brother-in-law, John (Donna) Duncan of Dundee, MI; and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceding Mrs. Duncan in death were her husband, Joe Duncan; parents, Frank and Frances Hillyer; and brother, Frank Hillyer, Jr.
