Funeral services for Mary Ann Pilgrim-Mulligan will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Dr. Jim Kelly and Rev. Aaron Chunn officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 5 until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Ms. Mulligan, 85, of Philadelphia died Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Mary Ann was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. She formerly worked at Garan, and as a Life of Georgia Insurance Agent, operated Pop’s Drive Inn and later as a dealer at the Pearl River Resort. She was a league bowler for several years and a wonderful country cook. Ms. Mulligan was a charter member of East Philadelphia Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters, Latina Edwards of Philadelphia, Kathy Scott (Mike) of Huntsville, AL and Terri Purvis (Mark) of Callahan, FL; three grandchildren, Michael White, Aaron Chunn and Connie Willis; a host of grandchildren and their families; numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Ms. Mulligan was preceded in death by husbands, Legette Pilgrim and Michael (Moon) Mulligan; parents, Herbert (Pop) Goodin and Mary (Maw) Goodin; sisters, Rose Earp, Billie Jones and Betty Butler; brother, B.A. (Buddy) Goodin; grandson, Chris White; son-in-law, Bobby Mitchell Edwards. Pallbearers, Jerry Stokes, Jimmy Butler, Bobby Butler, C.J. White, Dylan Chunn and Tanner Chunn. Honorary Pallbearers, Albert Brackin and Thurman Chunn.
