Services for Marvin Allan Roberts will be held Saturday, March 21, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Mike Skinner officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, March 20, 2020, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Roberts, 57, of Neshoba County, died Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at his home in the presence of his loving family and friends. He was born and raised in Lauderdale County, MS, and a graduate of West Lauderdale High School. He was a longtime employee of Edwards Electric as an electrical estimator. He took pride in his work and was proud to be a part of the Yates family. He loved to take his Skeeter out on Tombigbee River and do a little bass fishing. Allan loved his family dearly and loved to participate in all their activities. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church for a number of years. Survivors include wife, Marcy Fulton Roberts; daughter, Alyssa Wilkinson; son, Ethan Wilkinson (Chloe); granddaughter, Madelyn Wilkinson; brother, Bruce Roberts (Vanessa) of Meridian, MS; sister, Margie Franklin (Steve) of Pearl, MS; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Frances Sciple; Mamaw-in-law, Dean Barrett; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and their families. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by son, Jayson Roberts; parents, James Marvin Roberts and Janice Roberts; brother, James Terry Roberts; nephew, Ben Roberts; and father-in-law, Marshall Fulton. Pallbearers are Alvin Smith, Kent Joyner, Frank Sullivan, Bob Killen, Stephen Tisdale, and Daniel Kelly. Honorary pallbearers are Ethan Wilkinson, Ralph Sciple, Bass Club Friends, Leland White, and Randy Gabriel.
