Graveside services for Martha Helen (Clark) Ethridge will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2022 at Good Hope Cemetery in Philadelphia, MS with Rev. Matt Hall officiating. A visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2022 at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Ms. Ethridge, 95, of Meridian, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. Martha retired after a 33-year career in banking from Regions Bank. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time with family & friends. She took great joy in spending time with her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She was a member of Poplar Springs Drive UMC. She is survived by daughters Janice Eggler (Benny) & Sheila Hasson. Grandchildren Denise Johnson (David), Wendy Freeman, Diana White (David) & Jennifer Clark. Great-Grandchildren Zac (Hannah), Nate & Olivia Johnson; Hawk Allen; Tensley & Kiegan White; Elijah & Bailey Clark. Great-Great Grandchildren Harper, Gentry & Marli Johnson. Sister-in-law Elouise Ethridge and a host of nieces, nephews & extended family members. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 52-years James A. Ethridge, parents Linnie & Dorris Clark, siblings Hollis, Herman, LD Clark & Opal Ricks. Pallbearers will be Zac Johnson, Nate Johnson, Hawk Allen, Thomas Ethridge & David Ethridge. Honorary Pallbearers will be Elijah Clark, Jimmy Ricks, Randy Ricks, Billy Joe Ricks & Dorris Ricks. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Poplar Springs Drive UMC Secure the Legacy fund.
