Martha Bostick

Graveside services for Ms. Martha Bostick will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Coy Cemetery in Preston, MS. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am prior to graveside service on Tuesday at Coy Community Church. Ms. Martha Bostick, 88, of Columbus died on Friday, February 24, 2023 at her residence. Ms. Martha was a native of the Burnside Community of Neshoba County. She was a longtime resident of Columbus, MS. She and her husband owned and operated Bostick’s Grocery for 44 years. Ms. Martha loved quilting, gardening and taking care of grandkids. She was Baptist by faith. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy “Susie” Herron (George); sons, Perry Bostick (Cassie), Heath Bostick (Amy) all of Columbus; daughter in law, Jeanie Bostick; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, JoAnn Cockrell; several nieces, nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Neal Bostick, Jr.; son, Floyd Neal ”Bubba” Bostick, III; brothers, John Fox and Bill Fox; sisters, Bonnie Ellis and Jean Nance. Family will serve as pallbearers.
