A graveside service for Martha Ann Presley will be held Monday, November 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from Eastlawn Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Barker officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Presley, 82, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, November 27, 2022, at her home. She was a native and longtime resident of the Shady Grove community of Neshoba County and a graduate of Shady Grove School. From 1962 until 1985 she was a resident of Jackson, MS, where she worked at the USDA lab in Jackson; and then returned home and worked for Laird Home Health/Magna until retirement. She enjoyed fishing and anything outdoors. She loved being with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Presley was a member of Mt. Nelson Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Denise (Jimmy R.) Gray of Philadelphia, MS; son, David (Renee) Presley of Harrisville, MS; six grandchildren, Anna (Jay) McCullough, Amanda (Dwight) McDougal, Joseph (Shelley) Presley, Preston (Breann) Gray, Anderson (Angel) Gray, and Alex Gray; nine great-grandchildren, Miles Presley, Caroline Presley, Micah Presley, Tripp McDougal, Millie McCullough, Ella McCullough, Presley Gray, Abbie Gray, and Rossi Gray; sisters, Sara Marshall and Jessie (Bobby) Robertson, both of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Presley was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Presley; son, Aaron Presley; and sister, Mabel Herrington. Pallbearers are Preston Gray, Robbie Marshall, Sherman Robertson, David Presley, Jay McCullough, and Dwight McDougal.
