Graveside service for Ms. Marisa will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Sandhill Baptist Church Cemetery. Ralph Fick will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 1:20 pm, Thursday, November 10, 2022 at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. A beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend; Marisa Micheal Ryals left this world unexpectedly at the age of 23 on October 24, 2022. Born in Flowood, MS on September 28, 1999 to Steven and Traci Ryals. She grew up in the small town of Lena and the Arlington Community. She attended and graduated from Carthage Christian Academy before moving to Jackson. Marisa was funny, outgoing and veracious. Appropriately nicknamed Ree Ree, given to her by her mother. In Marisa’s short life others came first. She was very giving and would always share with others in need. Loving and compassionate she always had a smile for everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched. When you think of Marisa, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Marisa is survived by her mother, Traci Watkins Ryals; father, Steven Ryals , grandmother, Gloria Wood ; Grandmother, Pam McDaniels; step-grandmother, Jewel Ryals; Aunts, Kim Watkins Craig, Jamie Ryals and Kailey Ryals; uncles, Justin Spells and Travis Ryals; cousins , Chance Pryor and Dawson Pryor; a host of cousins, great aunts and uncles; special friends, Shon Howell, Tammy Howell and Travis Collins. Marisa is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Mitchell Ryals and Cline Watkins. Pallbearers are Brady Chamblee, Dalson Frye, Darwin Howell, Joshua Pope, Travis Ryals and Justin Spells.
