Services for Mrs. Margaret Ann Smith will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, September 12, 2022 at McClain-Hays Chapel. Interment will be held in the Smith Cemetery. Rev. Chris Gully will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm prior to service on Monday. Mrs. Margaret Ann Smith, 65, of Brandon, died on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at USA Hospital in Mobile, Al. surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Margaret was a native to Preston Community of Kemper County. She was a long time resident of Rankin County. She was a retired Registered Nurse. In retirement she traveled with Miss Delta Shows as a toy vendor. She loved and enjoyed all her family and friends. She was a member of Pine Lake Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert Smith of Brandon; daughters, Ashley Allen (Shawn) of Brandon, Caroline Smith (Chance Lowery) of Brandon; grandson, Frank Lowery; sisters, Sandra Skipper of Brandon, Vicky Sanderson of Preston; numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tillman and Carolyn Skipper; infant brother, William Marshall Skipper.
