Homegoing services for Margaret Harrison will be held Monday, August 26, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Leslie Courtney, Rev. Lloyd Adcock, and Rev. Mack Alford officiating. Burial will follow in Old Pearl Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in the Arlington Community. Visitation will be held Monday, August 26, 2019 from noon until 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Harrison, 91, died Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Atwood Personal Care Home in Philadelphia. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County , her hobbies included sewing, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. She was employed with Wells-Lamont and Neshoba General Hospital until her retirement. Mrs. Harrison was a member of Macedonia Revival Center. Survivors include her daughter, Jane Smith (Glen) of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Jason Smith (Kaysey) of Brandon, MS, and Brian Smith (Velda) of DePere, WI; great-grandchildren, Valerie and Jackson Smith of Brandon, MS, Madelyn and Malachi Smith of DePere, WI; and special son from another mother, Joe Puckett. Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Harrison; parents, Clay and Stella Salter; sisters, Euna Fox and Ruby Salter; nieces, Sara Fox and Chris Warren. Special recognition and appreciation go to the staff at Atwood Personal Care Home in Philadelphia, Quality Hospice and her sitters/caregivers, Kay Barfoot, Laura Johnson, Patsy Collier, Betty Price, Lela Williams and Joyce Cox. Pallbearers are Mike Harrison, Allen Harrison, Norman Adcock, Robert Smith, Eddie Kirkland, Nathan Kirkland, Robert Burkes and Larry Walker. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to Macedonia Revival Center, Old Pearl Valley Cemetery Fund, or your favorite charity.
