Graveside services for Mamie Lois Holland will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. from Holy Rosary Cemetery with Father Bob Goodyear officiating. McClain-Hays is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Holland 88, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Mamie Lois Holland, age 88, passed away on August 12, 2020 after a short illness. She was a devoted Catholic, wife, mother and grandmother who was loved by all. She lived in Neshoba County most of her life and was a factory worker and caregiver by trade. Mrs. Holland enjoyed watching the Lady Bulldogs play basketball and working in her flower beds as hobbies. She was an excellent cook and was well known for her chicken ‘n dumplings. She is survived by her children, Howard (Debbie) Holland, Lynn (Bob) Benson and Gail (Jim) Gray; grandchildren, Tommy (Sharon), Jason (Misty), Sarah, Nathan (Mandy), Erin, Patrick and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Holland was preceded by her husband, Buddy Holland; two great-grandsons, Parker Holland and Kenan Gray; parents, Ben and Zexa Eldridge; brother, Howard Eldridge. In lieu of flowers the family requests charitable donations be made to the Holy Rosary Cemetery fund.
