Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home with Bro. David Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in the Morrow Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at McClain-Hays. Maggie Hillman, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23rd, 2024. Born on Tuesday, January 4th, 1938 to parents James Austin Rich and Ellie V. Rich Russell, Maggie dedicated her life to her family and church. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter Cheri Caraway of Union, son Michael (Kay) Hillman of Philadelphia, grandchildren Bonnie (John Mark) Posey, Dana (Josh) Garrett, Katie (Tyler) Sistrunk, Jon Michael (Cali) Hillman, great-grandchildren Bryce, Breleigh, Brooklyn, and Reese Garrett, Alison (Tyler) Dill, Damon (Skyla) Witcher, great-great-grandchildren Manny and Ezra Dill, Ember and Baby Cole Witcher due in November, and a host of nieces and nephews. Maggie was predeceased by her husband Charlie Hillman, sisters Louver D. Pace, Geneva Belk, brother Jimmy Rich, Infant Rich, and sons-in-law Steve Breazeale, Bobby Caraway. She will be remembered for her love of reading, old movies, cooking, her love of animals (especially cats), music, watching tv, and Hallmark movies. Pallbearers will be Josh Garrett, Bryce Garrett, John Mark Posey, Jon Michael Hillman, Tyler Sistrunk, Damon Witcher and Tyler Dill. In lieu of flowers, family requests all memorials be made to Neshoba County Nursing Home activity fund.
