Funeral services for Louis L. Coghlan will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 11 am from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. David Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Emmanuel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 26 from 5-8 pm at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Coghlan, 75, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Anderson Hospital. Louis was born and raised in Neshoba County. He retired from Prince Oil Company after 15 years of service and they all called him “Radar”. He loved to hunt, fish and loved his family dearly and always had a smile on his face. Mr. Coghlan was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his daughters, Tammy Brooks of West Helena, AR and Carrie Martin (James) of Sebastopol, MS; grandchildren, Amanda Irwin (Charles) and Alye Brooks, all of Philadelphia, Caitlan Webb (John) and Jayda Martin, all of Sebastopol; great-grandchild; Kyler Settlemir and Kohen Webb; brothers, Bill Coghlan of Philadelphia and Ricky Coghlan (Cherie) of Starkville. Mr. Coghlan was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Coghlan; children, Timmy and Stacy Coghlan; father, William Eugene Coghlan; mother, Helen Strait.
