Lorene Manning

Graveside services for Lorene “Rene” Manning will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. from Mars Hill Cemetery in Winston County with Rev. Dwight Fleming officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Manning, 94, of Winston County, died Wednesday, June 24, 2020. A native and lifelong resident of Winston County, she was a graduate of Arlington Public School. She worked for Wells-Lamont Glove Factory for many years until she retired. Mrs. Manning was a member of Plattsburg Baptist Church in Winston County. Survivors include sons, Norvil Manning (Linda) and Terry Manning (Janice), all of Noxapater; grandchildren, Kim Manning, Rusty Manning (Lynn), Dustin Manning, Holley Gardner (Wilson); eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Manning was preceded in death by husband, Ray Manning; parents, Harley and Sadie Blount.
