Services for Mrs. Lois Beason will be held Thursday, December 5, 2019, at 2 p. m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Mack Alford officiating. Burial will follow in Henrys Chapel Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2019, from 5 until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Beason, 95, of Philadelphia, died Monday, December 2, 2019, at Neshoba County General Hospital. Mrs. Beason was a native of Philadelphia. She was employed with Garan Manufacturing and retired from Wells-Lamont. She was a well known seamstress in the area, making wedding dresses for many brides. Mrs. Beason was a member of Beacon Street Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Addy (Ray) of Decatur; three sons, Rufus Lorell Beason (Dorothy) of Columbus, Lonnie Beason (Jerry) and Steve Beason (Cathy) of Philadelphia; seven grandchildren, Cherie Phillips of West Monroe, LA, Jenna Beason, Shelby Beason (Marlo), Kevin Beason M.D. (Mecie), all of Philadelphia, Becky Frink (Brian), Jody Addy (Brook), and Pam Joyner (Stephen), all of Decatur; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Walterene Sheffield of Arlington, TX; two brothers, Rodney Goldman (Jewel) of Philadelphia and F. B. Goldman of Arlington, TX. Mrs. Beason was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Beason; parents, Walter “Babe” and Lorena Hill Goldman; and five sisters. Pallbearers are Shelby Beason, Kevin Beason M.D., Jody Addy, Joseph Savage, Brian Frink, and Stephen Joyner. Honorary pallbearers are Maddox Madison, Majure Clearman, Cole Beason, Hunter Beason, Landon Beason, Isaac Frink, Eli Frink, Jeb Addy and Hank Addy.
