Services for Linda Thaggard will be held Friday, September 11, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel. Burial will follow in Morrow Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Thaggard, 73, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at the Neshoba County Nursing Home. She was a native and lifelong resident of the Dixon Community in Neshoba County and operated A & B Grocery in Dixon for 35-plus years. Mrs. Thaggard was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church and a member of the Women On Mission Group. She loved to cook for family and friends. Survivors include husband, Billy Pat Thaggard of Philadelphia; children, Penny Bates, Billy (Karen) Thaggard and Kimberly (Mike) Roland, all of Philadelphia; grandchildren, John Thomas Bates, Mason Bates, Noah Bates, Cody Thaggard, Anna Thaggard, Ashton Wallace, Lane Belk, Kayla Clark, Daltrey Roland, Joshua Roland; great-grandchild, Wylder Wallace; sisters, Dianne Hollingsworth of Decatur, Peggy Hollingsworth of Picayune, Nancy Rowzee of Decatur and Deborah Lucroy of Philadelphia; numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Mrs. Thaggard was preceded in death by parents, Grady and Ruth Pullin; three brothers, Quinton, Glen and Carl Pullin; sister, Rita Gail Pullin. Pallbearers are John Thomas Bates, Jr., Mason Bates, Noah Bates, Cody Thaggard, Lane Belk, Dusty Watkins, and Brandon Clark.
