Linda Eubanks Harrison

Funeral services for Linda Eubanks Harrison will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Dennis Duvall and Rev. Dan Howard officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in Herbert Cemetery in Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Harrison, 76, of Philadelphia, died Monday, October 18, 2021. She was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County and a resident of the Herbert Springs Community. She graduated high school in Tustin, California in 1963 and attended East Central Junior College. She helped her father get the Colonial House Restaurant & Motel started. She later worked as an accountant at the Neshoba Central Elementary Cafeteria; and after retirement from there she worked several years at First Baptist Church Children’s Ministries. Mrs. Harrison was a member of Herbert Baptist Church where she served as church secretary for a number of years. She loved Neshoba Central and Ole Miss Sports, to read, and her rescue dog Molly. She dearly loved her grandchildren. Survivors include sons, Johnny (Becky) Stuart and Jeff Stuart, both of Philadelphia; daughter, Donna (David) East of Amory; grandchildren, Maribeth Stuart, Katye Stuart, Stephen East, Leslie East Kassie Richardson and Drew Woods; great-grandchildren, Jeb Grier, Gamblin Massey, Tate Springfield, Khloe Cumberland, Kenzie Cumberland and Blakely Woods; sister, Alice Crawford of Philadelphia; brothers, David Eubanks of Philadelphia, Rocky Parks of Louisiana; numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Preceding Mrs. Harrison in death were her husband, Buck Harrison; grandson, Jeb Stuart; mother, Eunice Eubanks; father, Ed Eubanks. Pallbearers are Ben Eubanks, Nick Eubanks, Jonathan Eubanks, John Mark Gibson, Jamie Hardy, Cameron Ferguson, Stephen East, and Brad Stuart. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church Childcare Ministries, or your favorite charity.
