A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Ms. on Saturday June 9, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Ms. on Saturday June 9, 2018 from 1:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M.Ms. Hantzis, 69, of Philadelphia, MS, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Neshoba General Hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. A graduate of Philadelphia High School, she earned her B. S. degree at University of Southern Mississippi and her Master’s degree at Mississippi State University. She taught public education until her retirement. Ms. Hantzis was a member of First Baptist Church in Philadelphia.Survivors include three sons, Paul Hantzis (Amy) of Morgantown, WV; Patrick Hantzis of Philadelphia, MS, Perry Hantzis (Christy) of Philadelphia, MS; grandchildren, Nigel Hantzis, Sarah Hantzis, Molly Hantzis, Paris Hantzis, Olivia Hantzis, Leah Hantzis and Lucy Hantzis; sister, Pam Perry of Clinton, MS; brothers, Rodney Perry of Columbus, OH, Bill Perry of Memphis, TN, and Dan Perry of Philadelphia, MS.
