Lillie Bell "Hessie" Fain

Graveside services for Hessie Fain will be held Sunday, May 3, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Shepard Cemetery in Kemper County with Rev. James Ruffin officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Fain, 90, died Saturday , May 2, 2020 at John C. Stennis Hosptial in Dekalb, Ms. She was a native and lifelong resident of Kemper County and was a loving wife and mother. Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Homer Fain of DeKalb; daughters, Peggy Branning (Jackie) of Preston, Ann Wedgeworth (Del) of House and Darlene VanDevender (Roy) of DeKalb; son, Billy Fain (Margie) of Zero; 13 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and their families and a special niece, Teen Hurtt. Mrs. Fain was preceded in death by her parents, John and Allie Wright; grandson, Brad Martin; Son-in-law, Ray Martin.
