Lester A. Diffenderfer

A private family graveside service will be held for Lester A. Diffenderfer from Eastlawn Cemetery with Rev. Rondal Richardson officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mr. Diffenderfer, 88, of Franklin, TN, died Tuesday, November 10, 2020. He was a native of Satartia, MS, and former resident of Philadelphia, MS. He retired as a maintenance supervisor from Nemanco in Philadelphia and drove a charter bus after retirement. Mr. Diffenderfer was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He served in Korea with the U. S. Army. Survivors include three daughters, Dianne Diffenderfer of Heber Springs, AR, Ginger Gail DePriest of Fulton, MO, and Teresa Lynn Sparks of Nashville, TN; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Diffenderfer was preceded in death by his wife, Margie; and eleven sisters and brothers.
