Leota Barrett

Services for Leota Barrett will be held Friday, November 9, 2018 at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home with Chris Butler officiating.  Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday, November 9, 2018, from 10 a.m. until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Barrett, 95, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. Mrs. Barrett attended Philadelphia Church Of Christ.  She was Baptist by faith. Survivors include her daughters, Sue Sullivan and Patricia Barton of Philadelphia; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Barrett was preceded in death by her husband, Judge Barrett; daughter, Brenda Eakes; sons, Jessie Ladd and Mitchell Eakes; six sisters and three brothers.
