Funeral services for Lennard Stansbury, Sr., will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Cross Catholic Church with Deacon Jeff Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Prayer service will be at 7:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mr. Stansbury, Sr., 73, of Lubbock, TX, died Sunday, November 20, 2022, at Covenant Medical Center in Texas. A native of New Orleans, LA, he had been a resident of Neshoba County for several years before moving to Las Vegas, NV, where he lived until 2020. He was currently a resident of Lubbock, TX. He was owner/operator of LHS Trucking Company until retiring in 2010. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors, especially deep sea fishing with his wife Brenda. He was a Mason and member of Philadelphia Lodge #93. He served in the U. S. Air Force in Thailand as an aviation technician. Mr. Stansbury was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Philadelphia. Survivors include daughters, Sheri Guillot of Harvey, LA, and Terri Madere of Philadelphia, MS; sons, Darren Guillot of Hot Springs, AR, Scott Stansbury of Topeka, KS, Brandon Guillot (Kristy) of Mandeville, LA, and Leonard Stansbury, Jr., (Tina) of Lubbock, TX; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding Mr. Stansbury in death were his wife, Brenda Stansbury; parents, Joe Stanbury and Doris Arcement; and brother, Alfred Stansbury.
