Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from the chapel of McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Eastlawn cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until service time at McClain-Hays. Rev. Dennis Duvall will officiate. Mr. Holland, 70, passed away November 22, 2023 at his home in Ellisville, MS. He was born August 26, 1953 at Anderson Hospital in Meridian, MS and was raised in Philadelphia. He graduated from Philadelphia High School in 1971 and from Mississippi State University in 1975 with his Business degree. He worked for Burrage Trucking and Howard Transportation for 40 plus years. Larry loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed traveling with his work. Survivors include his sister, Debbie Davis Beckham(Wayne) of Philadelphia; nieces, Emily Burks(Matthew) and Jesse McKinney of Philadelphia; nephews, Jeremy Files(Bethany) and Shannon Davis of Philadelphia, Shawn Davis of Bay Springs; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Davis; step-father, R. P. Davis; his father, Billy Holland; and step-brother, Johnnie Davis.
