Laree Mowdy Mannino

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, for Laree Mowdy Mannino at 3:30 p.m. from Bethsaida Baptist Church Cemetery in Neshoba County with Elder B. T. Strum officiating. Visitation will be held at McClain-Hays Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until time of departure. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Mannino, 96, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Neshoba County Nursing Home. She was a native of Neshoba County. She traveled extensively with her career early in life, and later in life moved to Florida where she met and married her late husband. Shortly after marriage they began their business, The Harbor View Retirement Village in New Port Richey, Florida, which they owned and operated for several years. At the age of 93 she decided to move back home to Neshoba County, MS. Mrs. Mannino was Baptist by faith. Survivors include two sisters, Geraldine Watson and Betty Jean Partridge, both of Philadelphia; nieces and nephews, Patricia Rushing, Cindy Forsythe (Marty), Rhonda Williams (Dennis), Hanna Watson (Sheila), and Randy Partridge; along with a host of great-nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Mannino was preceded in death by her husband, Nickolas “Nick” Mannino; and parents, Joe and Mary Strum Mowdy.
