Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. from McClain-Hays chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Myers and Rev. Ed Dickerson officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday August 28, 2023 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays. Interment will be in the Wheatfield Cemetery. Mr. Jerry was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County. He worked and managed dairy farms in Florida for several years until he retired in 1987 and moved back home. He worked hard all his life either farming or in his garden. His passion was hunting and fishing but first and foremost he loved his garden and was the best at it. He loved his family especially his grandchildren and spending time with them. He was a member of Decatur Church of God. He is survived by his sons, Kenny Belk (Tiffany) of Union, Jeremy Belk (April) of Sebastopol; daughter, Tammy Parker (Wayne) of Okeechobee Fl; grandchildren, Lane Belk (Bailey), Ashton Wallace (Lee), Jude Belk, Charlee Belk, Mariah Belk; great-grandchildren, Wylder Wallace and Bentley Wallace; sister, Dianne Elliott of Okeechobee Fl and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his first wife Betty Ann Boler Belk and second wife Margaret Belk; parents, Herman and Juanita Pinter Belk; sister, Sondra Sills and her husband Henry Sills and brother-in-law Jim Elliott. Pallbearers are: Glenn Sills, Richard Johnson, Victor Elliott, David McCoy, Mike Driskel, Ron Spivey and Jason Johns. Honorary Pallbearers are: Randy Watkins, Ross Belk, Durwood Belk, Chris Zehnle-Chandler, Bennie Belk, Robert Belk and Dorman Pinter.
