Kenneth Franklin

A graveside service for Kenneth E. Franklin will be held Monday, August 16, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from Linwood Baptist Church Cemetery in Neshoba County with Bro. David Richardson officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Franklin, 62, of Union, died Friday, August 13, 2021, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. He attended Union schools. He enjoyed singing and loved listening to the radio. He read his Bible daily and dearly loved his family. Mr. Franklin was a member of Linwood Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Mattie Kelly; sisters, Gatha Skinner (Ottis), Beverly Bassett (Sal); and brother, Eugene Franklin (Carolyn), all of Union, MS; stepsister, Kimberly Kendall; three stepbrothers, Robby, Chris, and Allen Kelly; several nieces, nephews, and their families. Mr. Franklin was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Franklin; and brother, Bobby Gene Franklin. Pallbearers are Lee Hardy, Dillon Cumberland, Exo Moore, Jr., Decklan Killen, Jay Brown, Eugene Franklin, and Mark Boatner.
