Memorial services for Kay Knight will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 11 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Jeff Brewer and Rev. Mark Cloys officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 10 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Knight, 72, of Union died Sunday, April 11, 2021. She was a native and lifelong resident of the House Community of Neshoba County. She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Neshoba General Hospital after serving several years as an admission clerk. She loved the outdoors and gardening, but spending time and attending her grandchildren’s activities was what she loved the most. Mrs. Knight was a member of East Philadelphia Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Shane Knight (Heather) of Philadelphia, Clint Knight of Philadelphia, Tommy Knight (Hayley) of Petal and Barry Knight of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Sam, Jak, Riley, Taylor, Barrett, and Presley Knight; brothers, Lester Branning (Beth) of Preston, Rex Branning (Debra) of Union and Bruce Branning (Sonya) of Philadelphia; a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Faye Branning; nieces, April Branning and Jordan Branning White.
