Kari Boatner

Services for Kari M. Boatner will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Scott Boatner and Rev. Jaylon Hundley officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mars Hill Cemetery in Winston County. Mrs. Boatner, 61, of Philadelphia, MS, died Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Kari was a native of Philadelphia, MS and a longtime resident of the Arlington community of Neshoba County. She worked as a secretary with her husband at Scott Boatner Construction and Scott Boatner Ministries and was a pastor’s wife at God’s House (West Philadelphia Baptist Church) in Philadelphia. Kari was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include husband, Scotty Boatner of Philadelphia; sons, Matthew (Allison) Boatner and Micah (Jodi) Boatner all of Philadelphia; grandchildren, William, John Scott, Joseph and Hannah; and brother, Todd McMahan of Philadelphia. Kari was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth McMahan and her mother, Jimmie Pearson. Pallbearers are Brandon McMahan, Ben Thames, Jake Boatner, Ben Willis, Jim Estes and Jordan McMahan.
