June Beall Mitchell

Services for Mrs. June Beall Mitchell will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at McClain-Hays Chapel. Interment will be held in Cedarlawn Cemetery. Rev. Owen Gordon will officiate. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mrs. June Beall Mitchell, 98, of Philadelphia passed away on November 6, 2022. Mrs. June was a 40 year dedicated employee of the Citizens Bank of Philadelphia where she was manager of the bookkeeping department. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Philadelphia for 70 years. She served on many committees, a truly Christian lady and a friend to all. She loved traveling with her husband Clarence Mitchell. She loved reading, walking, working in her yard, helping her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. She loved her family so much. She is survived by her 2 sons, Kenneth Mitchell (Aletha), Joe Mitchell (Glenna); 4 grandsons, Marty Mitchell, Steven Mitchell, Mark Mitchell (Jamie), Trey Mitchell (Shanon); 3 granddaughters, Dawn Arledge (Randy), Mandy Toler, Holly Rohr (Dave), 13 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Clarence Mitchell; son, Dan Mitchell; parents, Thomas Ben and Minnie Thompson Beall; sisters, Ruth Rush and Elizabeth Old; brother, Max T. Beall . Pallbearers will be Mark Mitchell, Layton Mitchell, Mitchell Thomas, Matthew Thomas, Dylan Thomas and Bryan McLain.
