Graveside services for Julia Richardson will be held Friday, October 9, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. from Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper County with Rev. Shayne Martin and Bro. Vernell Daniels officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Richardson, 82, of Preston, died Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at the Neshoba County Nursing Home. She was a native of Winston County and moved to Kemper County after marrying in 1955. She worked at Wells-Lamont Glove Factory for several years and finished her career at U. S. Motors. Her pride and joy were her grandkids. Mrs. Richardson was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church in Kemper County. Survivors include daughter Janet (Steve) Triplett of Preston; sons, Kenny (Julie) Richardson, Jeff (Terri) Richardson of Union; 10 grandchildren, Stevie (Anne) Richardson, Beth (Mark) Sanders, Keith Richardson, Amanda (Daniel) Little, Summer Richardson, Joshua Richardson, Wally Triplett, Cassie Richardson, Adam Richardson, Daniel Triplett; five great-grandchildren, Tyler Richardson, Eli Richardson, Randi Lynn Richardson, Tucker Richardson, Jason Little; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Richardson; son Randy Richardson; parents, Kenneth and Clyteele Richardson; and baby sister, Dorothy Richardson.
