Judy Spears

Services for Judy Lynn Spears will be held Friday, August 13, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Bennie Alford officiating. Burial will follow in the Christian Life Apostolic Cemetery in Kemper County, MS. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mrs. Spears, 60, of DeKalb, died Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. She was a native and longtime resident of Kemper County and a graduate of Kemper County High School in 1978. She worked several years for Nemanco and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Mrs. Spears was a member of Christian Life Apostolic Church in Kemper County. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Frankie Spears of DeKalb; daughters, Tabitha Warren (Dusty) of Philadelphia, Crystal Stovall (Ben) of Philadelphia; son, Kenneth Spears of Eau Claire, WI; grandchildren, Lori Warren, Erica Warren, Bobby Warren, Tommy Warren, Conner Warren, RaeLeigh Stovall, Harper Stovall, Hayden Stovall, and Annabella Spears. Mrs. Spears was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Gene and Cora “Sissy” Eakes; sister, Peggy Eakes. Pallbearers are Bobby Warren, Tommy Warren, Robert Warren, Chris Stewart, Jackie Farrow, and Bryan Rigsby.
