Judy Moore Hillman

Funeral services for Judy Moore Hillman will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 at 1 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Jared Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in Morrow Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 at 11 a.m. until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mrs. Judy, 80, of Union died November 10, 2023. Judy was a native of Neshoba County and graduated from Union High School in 1961. Her father was in the Air Force when she was young and got to travel around to several different places while she was growing up but has been a Mississippian all her life. She graduated from Mississippi State University with her BS degree and her Masters from Mississippi College. She taught elementary education for twenty-five years until she retired. She enjoyed traveling, working in her garden, golfing and reading. She attended Mars Hill Baptist Church in Summit Ms. Survivors include husband of 59 years, Gary Hillman of Summit; daughter, Donna Leigh Bridges (Jeff) of Summit; son, James A “Jim” Hillman (Tina) of Pearl; two grandchildren, Katelyn Davis and Erin Davis; one great-grandchild, Sophie Olivia Muse; sisters, Wanda Hastings (David) of Meridian and Sue Stegall of Morton. Mrs. Hillman was preceded in death by a grandson, Charlie “C.J.” Davis; brother-in-law, Gary Stegall; parents Denman and Eleanor Moore. Pallbearers are, Jeff Bridges, Curtis Stegall, David Milling, John Boutwell, Joe Hillman and Tre' Freeman.
