Services for Judy Alexander Holton were held Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 11 a. m. from Noxapater Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Branum and Rev. Mike Fondren officiating. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery in Winston County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Holton, 78, died Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at her residence. A native of Winston County and former resident of Philadelphia, MS, she was a resident of the Noxapater area for the past several years. She retired from The Citizens Bank in Philadelphia. Mrs. Holton was a member of the Noxapater Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday School and was a member of WMU. She previously attended Trinity Baptist Church in Philadelphia. Survivors include husband, Bobby W. Holton of Noxapater; son, Barry W. Holton of Noxapater; brothers, Dewey Hopson Alexander, Jr., of Ypsilanti, MI, and Carl Alexander of Tuscaloosa, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Holton was preceded in death by parents, Dewey and Bealie Alexander; sisters, Connie Cumberland, Oree Bowman and Dora Lee McClurg; brothers, Muldrew Alexander, Arkel Alexander, Lindsey Alexander and Cedell Alexander. Pallbearers were Stanley Alexander, Ferrell Alexander, Danny Alexander, David Alexander, Danny Holton, Raymond Cumberland, Doug Holton and Darrell Holton. Memorials may be made to Noxapater Baptist Church Family Life Center Fund, or a favorite charity.
