Services for Judy Wiggins will be held Sunday, August 1, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. from Hopewell United Methodist Church in Kemper County with Rev. Dennis Robinson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Wiggins, 74, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Choctaw Residential Center. She was a native of Kemper County and a longtime resident of the Hopewell Community. She retired from the Kemper County High School cafeteria and formerly worked in the dietary department at Kemper County Hospital in DeKalb. Ms. Wiggins was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church. She loved to crochet and make crafts. Survivors include daughter, Lisa Stovall (Dewayne) of DeKalb; son, Justin Wiggins (Katelyn) of Marion; grandchildren, Sacia Stovall (Stacy), Tyler Stovall (Alex), Dylan Williamson, Kamden Wiggins, Kipton Wiggins, Blakely Wiggins, and Aubrie Denton; great-grandchildren, Abby, Brelyn, Presley Lingerfelt, and Josie Reese Stovall; sister, Beth Clay; brother, John Chisolm; numerous nieces, nephews, and families. Preceding Ms. Wiggins in death were parents, Lelia and Herschel Chisolm; son, Dustin Wiggins; sister, Ann Salter; and son-in-law, Joey Stovall. Pallbearers are Tyler Stovall, Dylan Williamson, Dewayne Harry, Wilmer Wiggins, Wayne Wiggins, and Joseph Spurlock. Honorary pallbearer is Stacy Henderson.
