Services for Judith A. Beckham are Saturday, November 2, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 11 a. m. from McClain-Hays Chapel. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Beckham, 75, of Meridian, died Sunday, October 20, 2019. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and lived there most of her life. She resided in Neshoba County for several years before moving to Lauderdale County. She was a longtime CNA at several hospitals and nursing homes in this area. Mrs. Beckham was a member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church. She loved her dog, Mikey, watching TV, and traveling. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with family. Survivors include daughters, Sandra Ferguson (Richard) of Philadelphia, MS, Sherry Dozier and Tammy Beckham, both of Jackson, MS; sons, Daniel Wilson (Thanie) of Meridian and Scott Wilson of Jackson, MS; brothers, Frankie Schwantes and Robert Schwantes, both of North Carolina; grandchildren, Emily Ferguson, Tammy Clark, Amanda Ferguson, Tony Ferguson and Caitlin Hembrley; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Beckham was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. “Buddy” Beckham; second husband, Charles Sullivan; great-grandson, Auston Clark; father, Frank Schwantes; mother, June Dettloff; and sister, Sue Ann Schwantes.
