Services for Judianne Rutledge will be held Friday, February 14, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Dr. Mike Carr and Dr. Wayne Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 13, 2020, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Rutledge, 76, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at her home. She was a native of Greenwood, MS and a resident of Philadelphia, MS since 1984. She served as Minister Assistant for Trinity Baptist Church for 28 years. Mrs. Rutledge was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Philadelphia. Survivors include husband, John Rutledge, Sr., of Philadelphia; two sons, Roger Rutledge (Penny) of Tucson, AZ, and John Rutledge, Jr., of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; granddaughter, Skylar Rutledge of Tucson, AZ; brothers, Arthur Floyd (Ann) of McCarley, MS, Pete Floyd (Pamela) of Greenwood, MS, and Mike Strickland; several nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Rutledge was preceded in death by sister, Betty Bennett; and brother, Bobby Floyd. Pallbearers are B. J. Morrow, Glen Fry, Roger Stephens, Greg Nowell, Bill Stephens, Allen Vaughn, and Dennis Dontrich.
