Funeral services for Juanita Davis May will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 at 1 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Mike Skinner officiating. Burial will follow in Clark Cemetery in Walnut Grove, MS. Visitation will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 from 12 noon until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.

Ms. May, 93, of Carthage, MS passed away April 6, 2025.

Juanita was born in Nashville, TN and spent her early childhood there and had lived in Carthage, MS for the past 50 years. Juanita spent years traveling around playing piano and spreading the gospel. She loved horses, sewing, building bird houses, feeding birds and traveling. She was Baptist by faith and was loved by many and will surely be missed.

Survivors include her sons, Aubry Davis of Carthage, MS, Randy Davis of Lawrence, MS, and Ricky Davis of Ponchatoula, LA; step-son, Tim May; grandchildren, Measha Davis (Alan Roberts); Makayla Davis Britt, Krystal Strait, Ben Davis, Emmett Davis and Sky Davis; great grandchildren, Trenity and Trey Roberts; several nieces, nephews and their families.

Ms. Davis was preceded in death by husband, Richard May; son, Robert Davis; Daughter in laws, Patricia Davis, Arlene Davis; Grandson, Evan Davis

Pallbearers will be Alan Roberts, Trey Roberts, Ben Davis, and Ryan Strait.
