Joe C. Hoyt

Graveside services for Joe C. Hoyt will be held Saturday, July 11, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. from Herbert Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until we leave for the service at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mr. Hoyt, 69, of Flora, died Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at his home. A native of Kemper County, he moved to Union early in life until he was a teenager, and then moved to Meridian until joining the Navy and serving for several years. He was a resident of Madison County for the past nine years and worked as a Traffic Signal Technician for the City of Jackson. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Hoyt of Flora; sister, Rochelle McCullough of Flora; four children; one stepson; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Hoyt was preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Ileen Hoyt.
