Services for Jimmy Rushing will be held Sunday, January 6, 2019, at 2 p. m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Byron Howell and Rev. James Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in the Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 5 until 7 p. m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Rushing, 67, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, January 3, 2019, at his residence. A native of Neshoba County, he moved to Greenville, MS, early in life and attended Greenville High School. He was owner/operator of Grain System Repairs of Greenville and throughout the Delta. He moved back to Neshoba County in 1995, and continued operating his business until retirement in 2010. Mr. Rushing was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Debbie Rushing of Philadelphia; sons, Jonathan Rushing (Patricia) of Greenville, Justin Rushing (Kyndall) of Philadelphia; daughters, Jennifer White of Greenville and Ana Phillips (Brock) of Philadelphia; 12 grandchildren, Erica Rushing, Lacie Wade, Austin Phillips, Shane Rushing, Cooper White, Paityn White, C. J. White, Hallie McDill, Addison McDill, Jaxson Rushing, Mason Rushing, Colson Rushing; great-grandchild, Caden Watkins; sisters, Faye Johnson (Jerry) of The Villages, FL, Reba Goodwin of Greenville, MS, Brenda Wells of Southaven, MS, Terry Coslet (James) of Greenville, MS, Connie Dillon (Paul) of Avon, MS, Vista Hammons (Bill) of Greenville; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Rushing was preceded in death by parents, C. R. and Hazel Rushing; son-in-law, Chris White; two brothers-in-law, Butch Wells and Darrell Goodwin; and nephew, James Coslet Jr.
