Services for Jerry Wayne Ward, Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022 from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Robert Sharp officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Sunday at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Interment will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery. Jerry Wayne Ward, Sr. was a longtime resident of Neshoba County. He worked as a mechanic and enjoyed playing his guitar and working on vehicles. He is survived by daughters, Jessica Ward (Sierah Justice), Ashley Smith (Christopher), and Savannah Ward (Tony Ezell) all of Philadelphia; sons, Joshua Ward (Ashley) of Cabot, AR, Jerry Ward, II (Jaylyn Wilson) of Pompano Beach, FL; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Robert Ward of Hot Springs, AR, Ellison Ward of Philadelphia, Alvin Ward of Enterprise, MS, Luther Ward of Little Rock, MS; parents, James and Peggy Ward of Little Rock, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
