Janice Eubanks

Funeral Services for Janice Eubanks will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Bo Buckley officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 12 noon until time of service at McClain-Hays. Mrs. Eubanks, 80, of Philadelphia, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. For years, Janice could be found in her beauty shop, fixing hair and building friendships that lasted well past her retirement. She loved a road trip and weekends camping. Her fun-loving and generous personality made anyone feel welcome whether in her home, her campsite, or at the fair. An avid cook, Janice was known for her caramel cakes and peach fried pies. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Mack Eubanks; son, Mike Eubanks; daughter, Mackie Goines (Rodney); grandchildren, Memory Norwood (Anson), Heather McCrory (Jerry), and Dylan Goines; great-grandchildren, Addyson, Saydee and Maggie; sister, Frankie Shumaker. Mrs. Eubanks was preceded in death by her parents, O.D. and Rachel McKay. Pallbearers are Chase Eubanks, Camden Fulton, Jerry McCrory, Adam Shumaker, Reggie Shumaker, and John Forrest Sisson. Honorary Pallbearers are Micky Eubanks, Gary Eubanks, Ricky Eubanks, David Eubanks, Donald Ray Parker, and Charles Parker.
